Folks, Will it better to use two Mazzei venturi valve with one pump?
Let me explain it better; I have a DIY skimmer with a DIY venturi valve feed it by Mag 5, I will upgrade the venturi valve with a Mazzei valve to improve performance, however I found the 384x Mazzei valve which is rated to use in conjuntion of a 200gph. The Mag 5 give 450gph at 1', so I am thinking if will be better to use two Mazzei valve instead of one using the same pump to feed the skimmer. In theory I will be putting more bubble using two venturi instead of one, but by splitting the flow the presure will drop at the venturi valve, however if the venturi valve is design to use it with a 200gph then it's not crazy to split the flow and use two venturi. What do you think? In fact it will more water per minute through the skimmer because it will not restriction at the venturi valve, is it right?
