UV Light Protection

Just reblumbed my return line. I now feed a 25 watt UV from return line. At some point soon I will have uv bulb power on a controlled outlet to shut off whenever return pump is off. In the interim will bulb be ok if left on for, say, a ten minute feed cycle when return shuts down? Water remains in chamber.
Appreciate your thoughts.

The main issue will be heating the water inside the UV unit but I expect that 10-15 minutes will not be problematic. Extended periods of time should be avoided, of course.
