UV Sterilizer

Will my UV sterilizer kill any pods that are being pumped into my DT? It is pumping through around 60gph, i believe.

They will be fine. I have a UV on my 155 and there are pods all over my glass every morning

Its my understanding that pretty much anything that travels through the UV sterilizer will be nuked.
Yellowtang, you are likely seeing the pods that were alreday in your DT.

I started off with only base rock in my tank, but come to think of it my return pump does have a T that Brings water back into the DT through both overflows and since my UV is only on the right side return anything going through the left would be safe.
