UV Sterilizers/Ick medication

what medication is good for a fish only tank,
and what UV Sterilizers is good for 55 gallon tank

can't use UV and meds at the same time

i like turbotwist 12-18 watts... mine is 36w and i put it on anything

meds, hmm, lots of people like coppermine - but you must use a seachem test kit to test it (or salifert but it's not as accurate... maybe API i've heard too)

Meds shouldn't be added to your main tank, only to a hospital tank.
