Vacationing in Hawaii

well hate to break it to you all , but mine is pretty darn close then. my T. Gigas stand about 18" tall by almost 2' long... and he is doing quite well. I know his captive growth has been since a seedling and is at the 7-10 year mark.

That thing is huge and very nice.
The clam at the Waikiki Aquarium was last weighed in 2002, It was over 3 feet long and weighed 167 pounds. Not bad for a 30 year old. Its now about 35 so I would amagine it is bigger and heavier

ok wow! I retract my statement then... It defently has mine beat! I cant wait for mine to get that big lol... but I love having it none the less...man I might even be wrong then on the age of mine.. I know it was at a clam farm though since it was a baby, because they used him for breading purposes.. I guess Ill have to try and figure out its age now... any suggestions to help me deturmine it ?
