Vectra Battery Backup

I think i know the answer based upon some previous threads, but figured I would ask. I have a Vectra M1 running in return mode, tried adding a battery backup yesterday. When I test it the pump turns off (water movement) however the lights on the controller remain on. Actually, the knob starts to blink and the power indicator shows a single light on the far right. I have heard the vectra needs a booster, anyone else get this working yet?

Rasta,

Depending on your plumbing the Vectra may not move any water without the Booster. That said, we are still developing the Booster and it will be available shortly.

Will the vectra run at all with power supplied from only the standard battery backup? I have the m1 running on my tank just as a backup return pump. It only runs on the lowest setting possible which still feeds enough water into the tank. I was looking to add the backup battery just in case I'm not home to run a generator. If it's on the lowest setting with no restrictions running into the tank do you think it will run?
Thanks :)
