Vectra M1 during Power Outage

Hi,

Looking to buy this for my new build and wondering what will happen when the pump experiences a power outage, what is the start up procedure?

Reasoning is it will be for a smaller tank (50g) so I will be running it extremely low, if it defaults to a certain percentage like 100% power I'll be experiencing flooding issues.

Does the pump save the low and high settings or will any resets occur for any reason other than reprogramming it?

Steve,

Should the Vectra loose power, it will go back to it's programmed speed once power is returned.

When I lost power in my home, my M1 pump did not resume working. I called Ecotech Support and was told that I had to re-calibrate my M1 pump. However, I could not re-calibrate the pump because even though the led on my Reeflink was blue, according to my Ecosmart Live, I was "Offline". I called Ecotech Support a number of times and tried a number of methods but could not get the pump or the Reeflink to work. Ecotech Support thought the problem might be with the controller and sent me a new pump. Unfortunately, I was unable to calibrate this pump either and this was with the help of support. As of this date, my Reeflink does not work (orange light) and my new M1 pump is collecting dust in my garage. I hope if you do have a power failure, you have better luck then I had.

I tested out all my EcoTech gear ( 5 Radions a L1 and a M1 and MP40QD's ) yesterday with a planned power outage. Had some electrical work and shut off power to the circuit the tank was on for a hour.
Everything fired right up.

Obviously your experience was better than mine.
