I have been running my ecotech vectra m1 for about 4 months and last night the pump turned off with the light flashing red and yellow. I looked up what it means and it says its overheated so i took it out cleaned it all up put it back in turned it on and ran for like 30 seconds then turned of again. Took out yook it apart checked it put it back together and turned it on and the pump almost straight away flashes red and yellow. All you can see is like the pump is trying to to turn the propeller and then the light start ti flash any help is needed????

Hopefully at some point today you called Ecotech.
If you haven't already, call asap.

As soon as I posted my response, I knew that you were going to say you were in Europe or UK.
I see alot of people who have problems on Facebook in a group called " Ecotech Marine Owners Club" .
The place some find help at is info@xodis.co.uk

There may be a solution with someone on FB.

Is there a potential recall that us consumers should be aware of?

That "œcall asap" means you may know something? Care to share? PM is good

No recall that I'm aware of.
Sooner you try and resolve this, the sooner you have a working pump.
