I have been using sushi grade nori for my tangs
(damsels and angels eat it too).

does anyone care to share what other plant material you feed your marine fish?

I've fed lettuce a bunch of times (I microwave it first, something about breaking down the cell walls so it's more digestible). I've stuck a ton of other fruits and veggies in the tank as well to see if they would eat it. I think they ate cucumber slices, I don't think they've eaten carrots, and I do not think that they would eat watermelon. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that I've tried.

I've found that mostly everything in my tank will eat greens, my sailfin and angels of course, but less likely would be my chromis, my clownfish, dottybacks, and whoever else I'm forgetting, but I've seen them all pick at nori floating around the tank before.

I make my own food. In it i put carrots, broccoli, nori, and spinach along with a bunch of other stuff.

I am interested in the ALoe too. I have an Aloe plant outside! Any negative effects? Alo, how do you prep the Brocolli, boil, microwae?

I started using aloe after reading on all the wonderful properties, vitamins & minerals that it has, I use the real deal straight from the leave, just peel it extract the gel liquify it and mix with the food right before freezing.
Aloe contains natural vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, E, C, Folic acid & Niacin and it is said to have ingredients that inhibit bacterial growth and fungus. It also has a substance that aids in the production of collagen.
I have been using it in my food for a couple of years now and I think it works good.
