Ventilation Question

I am in the planning stages of setting up a 250gal reef with total water volume of about 450 gal. I am planning on using a bathroom exhaust fan (vented outside) to help control the humidity. The aquarium will be set up in a new home so I was thinking of running 2" pvc from the sump room to the garage for the make up air. Does anyone see a problem with this? Thanks

Two inch pipe is too small - not enough flow. Take a look at FanTech inline fans with 4" or 6" pipe. Works great for me (6") and takes care of my 600gal system and 18' X 7' fish room - no problem. Added bonus, they are very quiet and relatively inexpensive.

What model are you running? Also are you using just one, or do you have a second one for a fresh air return?
