Ventralis Anthias

Anyone had long term success with these guys? I know they require pristine water, cooler temps, and lots of food. However seem s like their track record in captivity isn't that great. If anyone that has kept one could chime in and give me advice on keeping them that would be great as I'd love to get a pair of them.

The secret to their demise is their lack of decompression in general.
They as well as divers who collect them suffer from the lack of a decent decompression interval on the way to the surface.
Divers have died catching this damn fish.

People who know the most about this and who also care are rare...so, the problem will not be solved.
Better everyone boycott the ventralis.

It could be solved. It would take a company whose boss actually drives better collecting and handling policy down the line to the diver level as company policy.
