Venturi Pump Not Working

Hey everyone,

the venturi pump on my skimmer doesn't seem to be creating bubbles in the skimmer chamber anymore. I unplugged it and checked the airline hose, but everything was fine. When I plugged it back in, it made bubbles for maybe a few minutes, then stopped. It still pumps water when the bubble stop, also. Anyone know how I can fix this, or am I going to need a new one?

Have taken the pump completely apart or did you only check the airline tubing.

I checked the airline and took the endcap off and ran water through it before. I completely disassembled it and found some chaeto on the needle wheel. It seems to be working again. thanks
