Is it normal to have air bubbles coming from the water output of the 1.5l Vertex zeolite reactor?

Looks like you still have quite a bit of air in the top of the chamber that is getting pushed out the output.

Yes that's normal. It drives me crazy. I run a filter sock at the output to minimize the bubbles returning the tank.
