Very Cool BTA / Pics

I am very excited to be picking up this little gem tomorrow from a local reefer. I am calling this a WTBTA, White Tipped Bubble Tip Anemone. This anemone is 6-8" in size. Look how compact the bubbles are in relation to the base.

I have never seen one quite like this. Enjoy!

Very weird.........never seen anything like it.....I am also not so sure if I like it anyways, but I am not the one buying it!;) j/k

Looks very interesting. Is is a clone or has the guy just had it for a while and wants to get rid of it?

The local guy here acquired it from a guy in California on a trade about a year back. It was sold as a BTA...proper ID or not?

Very unusual form it took...almost carpet like. Based off the pictures, it looks like an E. Quadricolor to me but of course more pictures for extra clarification would help. Nice find nonetheless!

I added this bta to my tank earlier today and is settling in nicely. The foot attached almost immediately where I placed it in the center of my tank. I will update this thread on the progress of this interesting morph. So far the tips stayed round, compact, and close to the base of the anemone under my 250 HQI Phoenix bulb. When that bulb turned off and just my T5 actinics were on, the tips stayed round, but the tentacles lengthened about 1/2". The white tips are very pronounced.
