vets will not sell me interceptor.

ive tried 5 different vets and they will not sell it to me without an appointment for my dog. thats the problem. i dont have a dog. is there anything else i can use? i have white bugs. there is only ony of my lps being affected but i was thinkg about treating the whole tank. are there any alternatives? thanks

I was able to find a bunch of online information, showing how Interceptor is used in our reef tanks, print it out and take it to a vet. They then did some of their own research and wrote me a prescription. Since then, they've actually prescribed it for several other local reefkeepers. LOL, Now I have a large breed dog.

White bugs on your LPS are not what you eliminate with Interceptor. It's for red bugs on SPS. You might want to do some more research before you treat anything as there are some negative effects from dosing Interceptor that you need to be aware of.

i have read quite a few threads where people had the same whit bugs on their frogspawns and the interceptor got rid of them. i am actually going to dip the coral first to see if that takes care of it. probably not but im gonna try. no other corals show any bugs on them.

i use the same site. they call your pet's vet and make sure that you're allowed to get a prescrip for whatever it is you need. if you don't have a vet i doubt they sell it to you.
