VHO help

i bought a hanging pendent with 2 mh and 2 110 vhos they are driven by icecap ballast 430. when i looked at the unit the person turned them on for me and they worked great. i got them home and plugged it in and everything worked. so i installed the hanging bracket and now the vhos won't turn on some times they flicker on and off once. i took it apart and found a wire not connected so i fixed that but they still won't turn on.

I have icecaps and ran into the same problem when I installed mine. After completely stepping through each connection and ensuring that the wires made a good connection my bulbs fired up. I know it sounds dumb, but try to re-connect again in all of the endcaps. I thought that my ballast was bad at first and now I am glad that I took the time to step through them all.....I love the way the VHOs make the colors pop....

+1 redo wires, if still doesn't work bring em' down and i 'll fix them. Sometimes the connectors in the endcaps get loose.

i didn't wire these up but i can find the wiring diagram in icecap sponsor forum. if any one could come out to help me and walk me threw cause i have don't know where to begin. well i guess i will start with the end caps.

I agree with the others that it is probably a loose connection, but this problem can also be caused by old lamps.
