VHO Retro Problem

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here. I purchased a two lamp 60" kit and I can't seem to get three of the four end caps to turn on the lamp. It seems that three of the red o rings are slightly thicker than the other. Is it supposed to be that tight?

Thanks for the post, normally the unit is supposed to be tight to prevent moisture from getting inside the end cap. You may want to try a silicon lubricant to help the end cap turn on the bulb easier. That usually will help, just make sure that you use the lubricant sparingly and wipe the bulb clean before you light the bulbs.
