Hello Eveyone,

Well I posted a video of me feeding my zebra moray eel. Just to let maybe someone that has never seen it see it. Right now for some reason the video cuts off the last few seconds which are the best but I am trying to get it fixed. But you still get a good idea of what is going on.

I hope you enjoy it.

I felt really sea sick afterwards. Uh, how about setting the camera down next time instead of holding in one hand and then trying to feed with the other? I didn't get that movie theater or IMAX feel at all.

Yes I have to agree with you. It was a speer of the moment thing. I will do a better one next time with somebody holding it for me while I feed him for the IMAX feel ok.

Should be able to post a new better one in a day or two when he eats again.

The eel has been in the tank for months with no problems. He stays to himself. Also he is very storng. I have had problems with the tank such as ich, salt problems, and the such and he has had no problems at all. Also all the problems have been fixed.

I even had a banded cat shark that was about 10 inches and they got along just fine and the shark did not bother any fish either. I will be getting another shark soon for the tank. I had all kinds of tangs and clown fish also in the tank and all got along just fine. The only problem I am having now is the two large velvet damsels are getting very mean and may have to go when I put other fish in. So if that happens and anyone live close to me and they want them I will post it here.

I love having the eel in the tank. looks good and moves around a good amount and is BIG. I can not wait for him to get full grown.

What did you do about the ich issue? Did you do hypo on the tank? Did you move the fish to a QT and hypo or copper them there?

ich killed most of the fish that died. The fish that lived are still in the tank with a uv sterilizer on it. I had put about 1000 gallons of different meds to try and say the fish with water changes and all that good stuff with no seccess. Now there are no ich fish in the tank and zero signs of it. It has been about a month since I lost about 5-6 dollars worth of fish. That really sucked. That does not include all the time spent trying to save everything plus the meds and water changes.

Needless to say I will not be buying ANY more fish from the place that cost me so much.
