VIDEO: Giant fish tank ruptures at ‘T-REX Cafe' in Downtown Disney

To answer your question living color in Miami did the tank.
Do you have a link for this? From what I read on the forum, and cannot find the link now, it was a tank builder more local but since I cannot find that link I would like to see where your info comes from.

Pretty sure this is inaccurate information as most major news outlets are reporting this tank being built by ATM (the tanked guys)????

A similar tank ruptured in Miami a ew years back that was bult by Living Color and maybe thats what your thinking of>?

Living Color built or at least redid the tanks in the rainforest cafe at disney. Not to sure about this one.

I wonder how old that tank was? I would assume with that much preasure on acrylic seams it was only a matter of time? Maybe over time weight shifted and made the tank uneven?

The company that has taken credit on their own website for this tank is the Biscayne Group. As stated on their site they provided design build services. In this day and age who knows what that means. They literally might have been a true service and just contracted the work out to ATM. I did read somewhere else that ATM redid some work on that tank but nothing clear on what they did (my guess is the coral structure inside the tank). http://www.biscayneaqua.com/?biscayne_project=t-rex-cafe

There has been zero evidence at this point that ATM built this tank. According to another website about ATM, http://wereallwet.com/tanked-on-animal-planet/, "Have you ever been to T-Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney? Well, they built that massive peanut shaped aquarium in the restaurant by the bar."

As posted above, another company has taken credit for providing the design/build service of the tank in question.

yeah I think ATM built the one by the bar has octopus arm coming out of the roof its featured on there shows opening.
