IMO, it should not be problem. I use wavebox in my old, old tank which is 5-6 years old for a year and i did not see any problem with it. When i bought the tank used the owner told me he put it out in the backyard for almost 2 years. It will be some stress but i don't think the wavebox strong enough to crack the tank.

hey those browned out corals colored up quick!

The tank been up and running for 3 weeks. When i swap the tank i had them in the bin with no light for 3 days. Everything turned brown. .
