Violet LED questions.

What's the different between violet LED between rapidled, Steve's, and ledgroupbuy?

I heard some of these violet led's optic burn, is it true?

I'm just looking for something close to 420nm and I could run them 10-12 hours a day for the next few years without worry that it'll burn.

Go with ledgroupbuy HyperViolets and/or SteveLED's.

They burn because they put too much current through them. Radion's pro fixture uses the SemiLEDs. Ledgroupbuy has a video showing their violet outpeforms the SemiLEDs violet. Who knows how accurate that is. I did place an order with them however.

While this can be true, there were a ton of 403nm TV's that Milad had (ledgroupbuy) that would fry the primary optics even at the correct 500mA current. I know this as I have some.

Sounds like a plan, I will either be doing 50/50 of both Steves TV's and Milads HV's or I'll just do Milads.
