Visiting St Louis area.

Me and a few others from Springfield, Mo are making a run to St Louis and wanted to check out a few reefs shops down there. Any suggestions to which ones are worth seeing. Also would love to get some frags if any locals had some for sale.

Planet Reef for sure.

I visited Gateway Aquatics,Clayton Pet Emporium,Beldt's and Tropical World Pets this past weekend and Planet Reef was far and away the best stocked and best priced over this weekend.

Totally awesome reef store-though I still need to check out Marine Solutions and the Illinois stores next time I'm in STL. Planet Reef had some nice frags for $10.99-buy 4 get a 5th free. So those were in line with the hobbiest priced frags, to me.

I whole hardly agree with Cldormer!
I have been to several LFS in the St.Louis area and Planet Reef is far and away the best one not only do they have a good selection they are willing to help anyway they can.
I have not been to Marine Solutions yet either so can't coment on them.
If you go to Plant Reef ask for Steven the owner or Nick and tell them Allen sent you.

Thanks for the info. We actually just got back. We did go to Planet Reef and they definitely had the best selection of all the stores we got to. We also made it Marine solutions which also was pretty good but had more fish selection whereas planet reef seemed to have more corals. Both excellent stores.
