vodka dosing w/ cuttles??

so i have been reading on here for the past month or so, and on tonmo, I was wondering, ive been thinking about plumbing a 55 gallon into my current reef system for a cuttles only tank. I vodka dose at the moment, will this be ok with keeping a cuttles? or do i need to find another method of keeping my nitrates and phos at 0?
