so no one here doses vodka, I read an interesting thread about it on the sps forum and wanted to know if anyone around here has tried it

O.T I just heard in England they are starting to snort it. It goes straight to the head. Only problem is kids are dying because they are putting it into inhalers and there is nothing but pure alchohol going into your blood stream. The youth today are geniusly idiotic.

I dosed it for awhile when I was fighting the Green Penis Weed. My nitrates hit 0 pretty quick and nothing in the tank looked any worse than it did before but the GPW continued to grow. It definitely lowered my nitrates within about 10 days. I don't have any idea what the long term effects would be though. I think with proper skimming and water changes it is unneccessary. I also dont like to do or put anything in the tank you can't test for. JMO.

I dosed it about a year ago in my old set-up. I don't know if it did anything or not. I still use it to attempt to kill larger glass anemones, I don't really know if that works either. I thought a larger shot straight to them would kill'em?? Who knows.
