i just bought a used gen1 mp40, it isnt wireless, what is this i here about people flashing thiers with a gen 2 to get all the functions? what does that mean and can i do it? thanks

Is your controller metal or plastic? If it is metal then you will first need to buy the Vortech Wireless Wave Driver upgrade. This will allow your Vortech to communicate wirelessly to another Vortech and in addition give you more flow options.

There are a lot of changes to the wet side from Gen1 to Gen2 as well.

yes i did get it for a good price, what kind of changes? not sure if it is plastic or metal as of yet, waiting for it to be shipped. if its metal you say to replace it, what if its plastic? still not telling me what flashing it means.

The flashing is their method of upgrading the programming on the control unit. They have made some software changes lately that gave the Vortech more features. One example is the night mode.
