We have started taking attendance at the meetings... We (the BOD) would like to change the by-laws so that only members attending 75% of the meetings can hold office. It is up to the club whether or not we add this or not... A 2/3 majority is needed for a change in the by-laws to take affect... Please vote on this thread if you think this is a good idea or not... Feedback is welcome...
I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a potential officer to attend 8 out of 12 meetings in a year... I am in favor.
