Wall hammer rescue

So today I got a sick Wall hammer with receding tissue to see if I could rescue it. I dipped it in an iodine and melofix bath, was wondering if there was any thing else I could be doing or how often I should be dipping this guy to make this a success?

perfect water chemistry ,do not bother it ,lite current and time, feed it very small pieces daily.i have had some success with this only with a wall frogspawn polyps started to ooze off like icecream melting.i dipped it and di exactly what i wrote and it took 2 months but it came back.i only buy branching now cauese if a head dies you can cut it off not with a wall though.walls are better looking though

i placed it in a low flow area already and turned the mp40 down a bit. since the first dip it lost a little more tissue, but came home today and its full open except for the dead parts. it looks like it may be ok. There isnt a bunch of stringy stuff coming off of it any more.

gl luck.some people add superglue to the area so to keep from receeding and not getting algea never done this maybe last resort.
