As of right now I have 1 Saddleback clown in my 29 gal tank. I was thinking of adding another clown of some type but I heard sometimes if you don't add the clowns at the same time you'll have an issue. Is this true and will there be an issue if they aren't both Saddlebacks
If they are not the same species they will kill each other. The saddleback is a more aggressive species so that one will likely win. If you want another clown I would suggest a much smaller saddleback. If it is smaller it will likely not fight for dominance with the bigger one. The bigger one will become the female and the smaller the male and they should pair. There is always a chance that the bigger one will still kill the smaller one though.
