want to buy an RO/DI if someone is selling one

I just tested the water from exotic aquariums and it came in at 36 ppm!!!!!! This is supposed to be filtered! I would like to buy a used ro/di system that is in good working order w/ good filters. if anyone has one and wants to sell it or trade for some corals lemme know.

I think someone had a used maxima ro/di for sale recently... was it ding or macaw?

I've tested the water from a few LFS that I go to, and that reading is just about on the high side of average.
I don't believe most LFS offer RO/DI water, just RO... which is still a huge improvement over the 230-250ppm reading that I get on the tap water I use.

My water comes out of the tap at about 30ppm. I love living in Plantation. :)

ghsrider, are you going to be at the swap Sunday? There's usually a lot of used equipment, you may find one for a good price.

sorry to hijack...but maybe my digital inline tds meter isn't wrong then...the most i've ever seen it was 27 ppm I believe. and it always comes out 0 ppm. does weston have good water too?

Wow, maybe we should make a thread on the best and worst cities to live for aquarium owners.

Coral Springs: 154 (if my meter is accurate)
