Looks like Alveopora Sp. is in the same family as the goniopora, very difficult coral to keep alive long term.
According to multiple publications they benefit from daily feedings and medium light, I have had one for a few years and seldomly feed it, but the tank has high nutrient level and metal halide.
i think my gf has one of these. This coral is easy to kill, she kept it a little to close to a frogspawn and it lost like 60% of its polyp like things. If this was a shot from the side i would be for sure if they are similar/ same coral. From above they look the same. Also it looks like this is an actinic shot only. The ones in her tank are whiteish
I had a similar coral and I was only able to keep it going for about 8 months. It appeared very healthy and then one day I woke up and it just died. It was very strange.
