Want to see some growth shots

Can anyone post "growth" shots of your acans, favia, or brain corals? And include the time lapse between each shot and general care.
I know a lot of beginners, including me, want to see how quickly these grow and their growth patterns.

Thanks a bunch!

The outlines are getting fainter and fainter... but you can still see the original center polyp right on the very top of the acan, with the 90 degree drop, then the frag disk, then the rock ;)

Moral of the story is, you don't have to always run out and buy large colonies. Given time, everything grows.

A couple more...

05.31.2008... This one actually stopped growing over a year or so ago because it ran out of rock to grow on. I just put it on a huge flat surface, so I expect it to blow up big time again.

I know I'm not the only one with LPS out there. Mine have had a long time to grow. I'm sure the poster would like to see some short term growth pictures as well! Don't be shy.

Forgot the other info you requested. For the most part in a completely general sense of the definition, LPS are fairly easy. Moderate, but not harsh flow. Medium lighting (porkyspawn above is under 400 MH, others under 250MH). Feeding for the most part isn't fully required, but many LPS will benefit. Very small mysis, cyclopeeze, quality pellets, etc are all possible foods.

Thank you Eric! I've always been told these corals were slow to moderate growers, but I never knew exactly what that meant. Yours have been growing faster than I've been lead to believe. Again thanks for the awesome shots! Really nice corals btw!

Yeah that figures. I have some blue zoanthids that have grown like crazy and some pink ones that haven't grown at all. How much have your slower acans grown since you got them? Hopefully my acan is on the faster side!
