wanted: 12 gallon nanocube hood

my brother has a nanocube that i gave him but with makeshift lighting, (it came w/a nice lcustom ight but its not a nanohood and when i sold the tank to him i kept this light for my 16 gallon and gave him the crappy set up i made for the 16 gallon) he wants the nice light anf hood the cubes come with. does any one out there have one? i figured some one out there may have stuck metal halides on their nanocube and removed the hood. otherwize he'll have to buy one new from the company.....

You might be in luck. I took my 12g cube down after it broke and I think I saved the hood. I was using it over a Rubbermaid container while trying to sell the livestock. Let me look around and see if I can find it. I'll keep you posted.

Ok, found it. Its the DX hood with 2x24w bulbs and 2 built in fans. Still works too. The bulbs are less than 2 months old also. Not sure if you have the DX or regular cube, but your more than welcome to have it and see if it fits. I'll be at the next meeting and can bring it or if you need it sooner LMK.

can you meet me at yourreef tommorow? i am going over to my bros around noon to move the tank to his new house, arfter that we plan to go to yourreef to get some new goodies for his tank (and mine ), this would be around 2 i think. if you can meet with us there then give me your phone# so we can call you when we are on our way to the store so you can head on over.

if not then give me your contact info and location so i can give them to my brother, he REALLY wants a new hood.
