wanted: Aiptasia

looking for aiptasias locally in san gabriel valley.

I can trade clean live rock or coral frags with your aiptasia rock.

For trade I have these frags: purple tip digitata, green polyp digitata, zoos, gsp, green (tonga) mushroom, three sea urchins

thank everyone for the offers. I am still hoping to find someone closer in san gabriel valley. The reason for needing aiptasia is because I way under estimated my berghies' appetite for aiptasia and am running out of food source. Started with 3 berghies and within a week they almost wiped out all my aiptasias..... and I see a disaster coming

Let me know if someone local can trade or sell their aiptasia rock.

sheesh, i have much aiptasia in my tank. big and small. only problem is they are attached to big rocks which are stuck within my aquascape. im in pasadena/alhambra area. if you have a way of getting em you can have em for free.
btw...what is a berghia?

oh, one more thing, my friend in the oc took me to pacific reef recently, and they had this one tank with lil rocks that was COMPLETELY INFESTED with aiptasia. you might wanna chek em out.

youll want mine... i have some that are about 2 inches high... seriously. they are big and love to make babies... the babies only need 3 days to get to adult size. in long beach.

I read in the Coral Propagation book , you can make a refugium filled of Aptasia.

Sorry I canÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¦t loan them because I canÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¦t catch the berghies anymore. when I ran out of aiptasia, I released them into my display tank to feed on the remaining few aiptasia. I was keeping them in a small container before they were released, and multiple eggs sacks were collected after some hefty aiptasia feeding.

Fc.pride, you are closest to me. Do you think I can trade some live rock or coral frags with you? Send you pm.

Yes but they can end up in the main tank.
