wanted,cheap topoff unit

hello everybody,

im looking to get a cheap topoff unit that can be used. this topoff is not my main topoff for my tank but my topoff unit for my reservoir. ill explain, i live in a bi level so i have my ro/di unit in my laundry room and the 1/4 tubing i ran today with a kent float switch to turn on and off the ro unit which is in my family room on the same level. i want a switch in my reservoir to come on and pump the ro water back into the sink in the laundry room instead of flooding the family room if for some reason the kent float doesnt turn off. so a used one would work great,just something that works.

Are the kent top off known for not working?I run mine top off straight to the sump and tee to a trash can with a float.So as long as my sump stays full my trash can get full.Sometimes I have to shut the RO unit for a couple of days just so I dont get bad TDS readings.

in my old house the sump was in the basement and yes the kent float kept dripping out ro water almost filling it to the top a couple of times. i caught it just in time but the water would of gone right down the drain afout five feet away. living where im at now i have turned the ro water on running in a five gallon bucket by ,not in the sink(that would make to much sense) and it overflowed all over the carpet. the float i think was more operator error then mechanical but after the little flood in the laundry room i just dont feel like taking a chance. if i get no responses i think im just going to buy one of those mini autotopoffs for 35.00 with shipping.
