Well, I'm having some flow problems....I built this nice internal full width overflow so that I could skim the whole surface...thought it was a great idea...did a ton of research, painstakingly made everything level....problem: air gets trapped under it and makes one huge air bubble (kind of looks like liquid mercury..sorta cool) and that seems to be the major contributing factor to a hair algae breakout (the other being that I switched from mysis to pellet...I will be switching back I think)
I was just going to rip it out and use Scott's overflow box/tube but he begged me not to, said it was more trouble than it was worth.
Tank is mostly soft corals, so I don't want to blast them into oblivion by adding another korilla, so I thought a few smaller maxjets pointed at the underside of the glass might do the trick.
I can pick them up at the Christmas party, or possibly this weekend....Also have random tanks/hardware to trade if there's something you need
