wanted: standard 45g

I'm trying to look at all of my options... still interested in getting a tank drilled, but I can't seem to express how much I do NOT want to empty my current tank at this time.
So, if I can locate a very good condition 45g I would like to purchase that, have Jason drill it, have some help in rigging up the sump, and THEN empty my 38g.

I want a standard 45g because it has the exact same footprint as the 38g, but it is 4" taller. Which means it will still fit on the stand that I have and my PC light fixture will still fit on top.

I called Petco trying to locate one during their sale.... of course there are no 45's in stock, but they can order one, of course they can, but I won't get the sale price! What a racket...

I have a 45gal AGA for sale. It's going to be a little drive, just south of Milwaukee. But I'm right off the I-94. $20 since your driving so far.

Could she still get it for $20 if I can arrange someone else to pick it up and get it to her? :)

I'm from Racine and have friends meeting me at our lake cabin this weekend. Assuming they have room left to fit it in anyway. I've got a pickup so could bring it the rest of the way with no problem.

I have no problem with that.

OMG, Scooter you're so very nice to offer that! I'd really appreciate the help! I work in Green Bay and intend on bringing it to Jason to have it drilled and set up...

What's your timeframe?

If I can't find someone with space to bring it up this weekend I have a friend that can't be more than two miles away that can at least pick it up. However, it could be sometime in late September or early October before someone comes up here or I make it down there again.

Hopefully it will work for this weekend and will start asking those from that area coming up, but was was wondering just in case. This weekend being the last major weekend, I'd assume they will all have more things to bring home from the cabin than the other way around though.

just checking in with scooters and prugs... are we still on with this? Any plans being made by scooters? Prugs, is this tank 36x12x24? Those are the measurements from the AGA site, and that is the size that I need. Just want to double check to be certain.

So far, all responses I got was there was no room for brining it up this weekend. I e-mailed another who will be vising later in September and he said he could pick it up until he comes up, but he has a new car and last asked how big the tank was. I'd imagine it would fit in the back seat even, but he didn't say what kind of car it was. He'll probably get back to me again this afternoon.

thanks so much for the update! Perhaps when we meet we may have time to chat a little about hunting, I have to go pull my bow back yet today.

Wish I could use a bow. LOL, somehow always remove my forearm when I've tried, so gave up.

So, now stick with rifle, shotgun, and muzzle loader :)

Sorry I haven't got back to you.
That is the size. I am still plannig on some pics & actual dimensions.

Exact dimensions of the tank at the largest part (frame) are 36-1/4" x 12-1/2" x 23-7/8". It's going to be a few days before I can get some pics of the tank. I've got to many honey dues to get done first.

Hi Scooters and Prugs... just checking in to see where things are at. Scooter, are we still looking at late sept/early oct? It's no problem like I said, but I was just wondering and wanted to touch base.

THANK YOU yet again, I can't express how much I appreciate your help! :D

The tank is still here.
I still haven't taken a picture of it. It's in my out building behind some other tanks. Next time I move the tractor, I'll pull it out of storage.
