Wanted: Volunteer to give a talk: Photography

Seriously, we have tanks at UCO. we can do a projected talk and have a couple of laptops to do demos of color correction/photo cropping

Because I do so many talks I keep a laptop or two ready and have an LCD projector that travels with me.

Sounds like this is going to be a group project, nothing wrong with that.

I just barely know enough about photography to sound intelligent but if you ask questions I will probably be stumped.

Yep. I am very willing to do a talk on basic photo editing, etc. However, I probably can't do it until the September meeting and am not really able to answer many photography questions.

i would be happy to discuss cameras. pros cons and how to get the best pics.

paulT/Travis. you guys are on for manipulation and uploading.

You could also have people bring their cameras.

I used mine to get pics of my jellyfish under the microscope.

Here is my cladonema Jellyfish;

It was easy to do, makes me think this one is better suited to scopes.

Seargent Welch Monocular at 40 X.

Standard School Microscope. I was having my biology class draw the critters they found in cheatomorpha at 40X and decided I might be able to take pics through it so I put the lens right up on the eyepeice after I focused it the way I wanted used my hand to cover the rest of the lens so light would not get in and snapped pics. It worked.
