Wanting to turn new 20 L into.....

Stay away from those cannister filters this here will be just fine for your tank. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=3610&N=2004+22769
Just take out the bio-rings and sponge and leave the carbon and put some filter floss in there and you will be fine.

Do a search on RC and see if you can find where people have modded the Aqua Clear filters into small refugiums that will help you out also.

Skimmer wise for your size tank if you do 10% weekly water changes you wont need one but if you want to put SPS in it get that Remora skimmer those seem as if they are the best hang-on skimmer option out there. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE NANO FISSION SKIMMERS! absolute junk!

Lighting wise spend the money and find a T-5 fixture that will fit you 10 and you will be able to keep alot of different corals.

If you need more info check out Nano-Reef.com

Hope that helps.

I should have a small aquaclear fuge somewhere if you want it cheap for like $20. It has a small light, you just need to find a way to mount it.

Do you think some bagged LS and a few pounds of fresh would be good, or all fresh??.....well, I bet you'll say fresh, but would it work? If not anyone have a tank they are takeing down and need to get rid of it lemme know... :)

Just put new sand in there and get a couple cups of live sand from an established tank and the new sand will be live in no time.

okey doke, lemme know about the fuge asap! :) thanks
