War Coral advice needed

Bought this a week ago. It started to recede a little and color fading on one edge. Moved it to shaded area this morning. Have had it on sand the whole time. Should I move up higher or leave in the shaded area?

I did acclimate. Looking much better now after shading under rock. Any fading or white almost gone

I’m not sure what sort of lights come on the stock biocubes but I keep mine under Chinese LEDs and they like to be off to the side in low light
