Warped starboard?

I just picked up my 2 pieces of starboard and I put it in the 215 to test fit it. I doesn't lay flat due to the fact that both pieces are warped.

I've got them both upside down with two buckets of salt on them to bend it back but will this work? Any other way to get the pieces to lay flat?

I know that when I get rock in there, it will help but I want to silicone it down first and I won't be able to if all the edges don't touch the bottom.

Thanks.

You could lay it in the tank, upside down, with the silicone on it and the salt buckets on it and wait until the silicone dries.

I doubt it will warp back, but you never know.

Well, I was going to do that but all the edges are beveled so if I turn them upside down, the correct edge would be facing down.

I'll see if these buckets help at all then go from there. If anyone else has any ideas, please share. I'm open.

Well, that would be an option but it's 50 degrees here and pouring rain the whole weekend.

I guess I'll just put silicone on the bottom and then weight it down with buckets of water or something.

Perhaps use a hair dryer or similar to heat it up to higher temperature with a LOT of weight (your 215 is probably 6'x2' or around that... 52 pound salt buckets won't bend a 3'x2' piece back very fast, IMO)
