Waste SW Disposal?

I have a neighbor I do not like with an in-ground pool. I toss buckets of waste SW over the fence late at night...I hope he gets ICH.

Never dump in toilets or drains or throw in yards. When you do you are unintentionally destroying life."First do no harm to any living thing" Set up a place for it to evaporate.Use your imagination ,give it some thought .You could use the leftover salt in Northern climates in winter to melt the snow on your sidewalks.Or save it and some day return it to the ocean.

I was going to make a thread on this (still might) because I live out of town and rely on a septic system. I'm worried about pump/equipment issues along with the effect on the end of the system such as the cement and drainage parts. Salt is not kind to very many things. Have you ever inspected your system ?

I am on septic as well. I plumbed one of my return lines directly (with a valve of course) to one of my septic lines. My water softener dumps way more salt into my septic system than I do with my tank. I change about 30 - 50 gallons per month.

no, No, NO!

Never, never return anything from your aquarium to the ocean!!!

What life are you worried about destroying by flushing it?

I dump mine down the toilet but have recently started to worry about this. For people in Iowa, etc. it may not be a big deal but I live in Houston and worry about it possibly getting out into the bay/gulf. Is this a legit fear? Could An invasive species make it from my toilet to the Gulf?

Pretty sure your waste water from your house doesn't dump directly into the gulf. If so, you better ask for a huge refund from your water/wastewater company!
