Hi guyââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s

I have notice that my gauge stay on little bit longer then I usually see it (the gauge on the membrane). Therefore, I decided to check the flow ratio. I set up a gallon jug for the pure water. I put the wasted water drain into a six Ã"šÃ‚½-gallon bucket (Instant Ocean bucket). When the gallon jug got fill, I shut the valve that goes to my safety float for my aquarium sump. I go check the waste bucket and I see it still drain, I know it suppose to do that for a very short time. I have done this to make sure that when I replace my new membrane the ratio is should be 4 to 1. Have it for about 5 to 7 years. Therefore, I decided to come back later (lunch :D). I came back, it was still draining into the bucket that is full, and so I switch to another bucket. It was weird so I decided to shut the supply off. Turn the supply on and the gauge is readied no psi. Therefore, I try again but this time I just fill a 2 cup of water but the wastewater was about two gallon waste in the bucket. Therefore, I did it again to shut the supply then turn back on and no psi. So my ratio is 6-gallon plus to 1-gallon. Help

City water that come in is 55-psi., it a 90-gallon per day unit, with DI. The water tempter is 45 degree.

Any suggestion please let me know, thank you

Use an adjustable flow restrictor on your waste line so you can adjust the ratios the way you want.
