Greetings. Thanks in advance for any information but why do you categorize the care of these fish as difficult? I thought they were simply planktivores?
Thank you for your interest in the Watanabei Angelfish. We have forwarded your questions to our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility for this information. We will post any information we attain here.
Thank you for your patience while we check with our Aquatics Director regarding your question. The Genicanthus wantanabei often suffer from swim bladder problems so we categorize them as being difficult to care for. However, with good water quality, the correct foods, peaceful tank mates, and a little extra attention, they generally do well in aquariums.
