Are these cooler water fish? My tank is currently at 78 Fahrenheit.

If a male is purchased first, how long do I have to introduce females before it changes to female?

Also, how do these fare with bright lights?

I grew one from 1.5 to 3 inches in 6 months at 78 with no problems.

I would recommend if you want a pair and the male to stay male to get a small and a large female(2" and 4") and wait for the large female to change to male. Most Geni "pairs" I have worked with have reverted back to two females over time. Also, if you have other large angels in your tank they may not turn male or large males may revert.

Bright lights are no problem, I kept mine under 6x80w t5 in an sps tank with no issues.
