Just moved my 57 gallon tank hooked it up to rest of my system. Found a yellow watchman goby in overflow. Bought that fish 2 years ago about. Even moved the tank 6 months ago. Amazing it's still alive

i got just one of those guys the other day...hes tiny maybe 1.5'' im worried he's not gonna make it thru ttm, he's scared shitless in the bucks and goes nuts swimming in circles and running into the edges every time he sees me, i haven't seen him eat since i got him on sunday...

I would put a pvc elbow in there so he can completley hide him self away. He may still feel insecure and if he is in a high traffic area where people are coming close to the tank etc this could be adding to the stress, they are fairly shy. Mine stays burrow under a rock and will pop his head out now and again to grab food when it floats past.

hes in my spare bedroom with the door closed...i just check on him 1-2 times a day and try to feed but i haven't seen him eat yet....gonna put him in a 10g tank tomorrow, maybe the orange home depot bucket is freakin him out...if he makes it thru ttm i have a feeling im gonna have to keep him in qt for a few weeks extra to fatten him up before he goes into DT

Try some live pods etc, he can then graze at his lesuire. I find alot of fish do struggle to eat while going through QT. Its stressful for them being in bare tank & being moved from one tank to another. My clowns didn't eat properly at all whilst in QT. As soon as they hit the DT they started to eat like pigs. Allso if your using anything like prazipro through QT this can also have an impact on the fishes appetite.

I just had my chevron tang hide fir 2 weeks. It was in tank by itself. It wouldn't come out hid in rock all day. I then added my other 11 fish to tank and it started swimming around. Sometimes fish need other fish to no it's ok. That's why qt is hard on fish sometimes.
