Here we can water our vegetables anytime, so thats our out. I run the waste line to the garden and can use as much as I want. Plant a tomatoe plant! ;)

ime actually in acworth as well havent updated my sig. but i guess ime movin now anyway so might as well not even bother,

p4ck37p1mp where are u buying most of ur stuff from?

Alert, mini thread-jack in progress... =P

Marine Fish and Cappuccino Bay, Marine Fish has a better fish selection and is higher priced, Cap Bay has better coral frag choices and is closer. I'm still used to Ft Lauderdale prices, things are twice as much here. Been buying frags from RC members, but I like to see fish first so I'm eating the difference. In FLL you can buy a huge (8" across) coral colony of most things for $50, here a little frag can be $75.

yeah i agree capp bay is probably the best in town in my opinoion as far as corals and there fish are a higher quality than marine fish as well, its just there fish list is usually short. have u been to the fish store in buckhead?

I have 6 tanks, 4 of the over 100 gallons.....2 people, a dog, two cats, a Greentree python, and several other critters...My bill for everything including trash, water, and all is 80 a month.....3 bedroom, 3 bath house...

The fish store in Buckhead is very overpriced. They dont even try to compete with other stores. Cap. Bay is the way to go..... Or online.

yeah its like the closer u get to atlanta the more u can expect to pay. marine fish use to be alot better but i think there under new managment. also atlantis aquarium on roswell rd has ok prices but their fish are gauranteed to be unhealthy.

Many towns like mine, have a flat rate for water, which may be the case where you live.

Our town charges you a flat rate of 84 dollars, quarterly, which includes a 2 bag garbage pickup every Tuesday and 15,000 gallons of water over a 3 month period. If you use more than that, then their rate kicks in on top of it. Which, I don't know what that is because we've never even been close to going over that with 2 people living here. I don't need much RO/DI either.

If I was gone for 3 months and didn't use any water or garbage service, I would still be charged 84 dollars.

Your place may have the same deal where they're only charged quarterly and he's really asking for 13 bucks a month. Most places, water is very cheap.

no its monthly. its just easier for them to blame things on me..i think the high waterbill is from the washing machine always being on. and the 6 other people in the house showering and crapping but i could be wrong. my 20 gals a week in water changes could be doing it. i just go the ro/di so that hasnt been reflected on the bill yet.
