Water change = crazy skimmer?

Does this happen to anyone else? I have my ASM G4X skimmer set level with the base of the skimmer cup. Every time that I do a water change, about 20-30 minutes after, my skimmer goes nuts and continuously fills the cup untill the return section of my sump is empty (I have the drain mod on my skimmer cup). Do I have my skimmer set to skim too wet in the first place or is there an underlying issue

mine does the same, i think its from oils and such on our skin when were dippin hands in there. But i could be wrong, i just know , mine does that also, i just dial it back for a hour after the change

my G3 does the same, also when i change the filter sock every few days it happens too! Any time i do either i just leave to skimmer off for a couple of hours and it seems to work fine after that.
