Water change Ph question

My parameters are stable, ph swing is from 7.90 - 8.00 ...

my question is during weekly 10% water changes (28g nano) ph jumps
up a little, to approx 8.1x at the high point. then within days it goes back to
my average 7.90-8.00.

my question with SPS (acros) is this ph jump going to be a problem? I have 1 acro and plan on adding more soon...

When do you test your ph? If you test in the evening when the lights just turn off it will be higher than the morning.

what is the PH of the new SW made ?

do you let it age for 24 hours ?

for me, when I make a new batch of saltwater, the PH is about 8.8 !
tank PH is 8.3

so I put a power head and a airstone in for 24 hours and it gets reduced to 8.3 .

the jump in PH will not cause any serious Issues, although we all know how sensitive SPS are and it does stress them a bit, and they wont show their best appearance.

also., do you match the KH and CA as well ? sometimes higher KH in salt mix than ure tank can cause this, which is not good, u want stable KH.

just some stuff I learned through trial and error :P

I use tropic marin pro-reef and the new batch water params dont really change from waiting 1 hour or waiting 24 hours..

new water 24 hours later has KH:12.5 Ph: 8.4 Ca: 500 on my salifert kits..
