You have to be feeding the tank a whole lot. Having a sulfur denitrater and running GFO. Are you running a refugium? Not saying anything bad about your set up. It is definitely working. On my small tank I setup for SPS, Im having trouble keeping the nutrients up. My corals look pale like I'm running a Ziovite system.

Small sacrifices to the SPS GodsSeriously, just trying to keep nitrate less than 20 with my sulphur denitrator, phosphate less than .1 with GFO continuously and keeping a close eye on things. Calcium reactor to keep alkalinity and calcium stable. I really struggled the first year with this tank and kept persevering and it just took off. I still have struggles and concerns that "œsomething" is off, then I sacrifice another offering to the Gods for good measure.
