Water Changes in 28g

How often would you recommend a water change in 28 gallon reef tank? I feed everyday. I have a small cleanup crew, 2 cleaner shrimp, 2 clowns, 2 fire gobies and a sea cucumber. how often and how much. Really having a hard time figuring this out.

IM just putting my 2 cents in, by no means am i a master as a 28 gallon reef ( just above your thread is mine, 28 bowfront update) but a skimmer and hob small filter running phosban & chemipure elite, i have become atuned to 5-6 gallons ro/di water changes every sunday on the dot.

Weekly is best IMO. My tank normally gets a change only every other week though

I try to do a 4 gallon change every week.

I do 5 gallons every Sunday in my 29G Biocube also. unless I get wild feeding the corals at some point during the week. Then I will mix up a few gallons and suck the left over food out.

I would say start with the traditional "10% a week" and go from there. If you see some Algae popping up then raise the amount you change.
